It's been a week for the housemates in this year's edition of Big Brother, and the tradition of a female being sent home first is set to continue as Jale, Danielle and Tamara sit on the chopping block.

After an explosive row earlier in the week following the nominations reveal, Danielle didn't do herself any favours in the eyes of the public, but some have spoken out in her defence following Helen's swift denial of her hopes to apologise.

Jale seems to be the safest of the three, rocketing up in the bookies currently sitting as second favourite to win the entire show following her singling out from Pauline and receiving the killer nomination.

Tamara is gaining votes to evict fast because of her bitchy VT that saw her enter the compound, and nobody was fond of her joining with Mark and Helen in last night's highlights episode to ridicule Christopher, shrieking "boring!" in a high-pitched tone as he made an effort to make light conversation with them.

It didn't take long for the house to turn into a playground, and viewers are very unforgiving if you slip up.

For that reason I do believe Danielle will become the first housemate to be sent packing, despite my wanting to keep her around for a while and chop the head off the showmance snake (Tamara and Winston) before that train leaves the station.

Big Brother Power Trip continues tonight with its first live eviction at 9pm on Channel 5, with the interview following at 10.30pm.
