I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here: Audience target Gillian was once again voted by the public to complete the trial. “I can’t do it. I’m sorry. I can’t go in a cave with spiders”, she cried as she got a hug from Linford. Britt meanwhile glared at her.

Dom said “I don’t have a huge amount of faith in Gillian. She seemed to have turned a bit of a corner yesterday. There is just slightly less of a look of complete insanity in her eyes. And then she’s off again.”

Lembit asked Gillian if there was anything he could do to help her and Alison advised her to “just internalise it when you go there”. Gillian laughed. “That’s logical of course. I’d be advising the same thing. I’d be telling you all the things you’re telling me.”

Gillian had to take someone with her to the trial and she chose Sheryl. But Jenny pointed out “strategically if Gillian wanted to get stars, she’d have taken Linford. Somebody who’s desperate to do a trial and get in there.”

And Alison said “Linford is ready for a trial. He looks good, he’s got the moves. If it was me who was going in I’d have said just do it. Get the food. She’s not really bothered about food is she, our Gillian?”

And on the way to the trial, Gillian said “I’ve had enough. I don’t think I can do this actually. It will definitely help me to have Sheryl there but I won’t be getting any stars. She can help carry me to the stretcher. That’s about it.”

The Tria Calamity Cave
Ant and Dec greeted Gillian and said “You were chosen by the public but you were allowed to bring someone with you – Sheryl.”

Gillian explained that she chose Sheryl “because she’s non judgmental, she’s very kind, she’s like a little angel in the camp but also she’s the kind of person that if I don’t do well and I do completely freak out I can look at her and she’d be fine about it.” “Lucky me” replied Sheryl.

Gillian had to wear blacked out goggles which had tiny cameras in them and meant that she couldn’t see, but would be guided via Sheryl who watched on a screen what the cameras on the goggles picked up. There were 13 stars in the cave complex, one for each member of camp which Gillian had to find against the clock. “I will try but I’m not making any promises” she warned.

Gillian entered the cave which looked like a disused mine. She squealed as she felt things on her but with Sheryl’s guidance managed to find the first star, in an old birdcage. She found a second and then two more in a hole filled with mousetraps.

Sheryl guided her further into the cave as she said “I’m dizzy, I’m going to faint”. Time was nearly out so she was guided towards an old detonator which she had to plunge down. This released gunk over Sheryl, sitting outside, earning another star for camp.

After the trial, Gillian said that she felt “exhausted, relieved but I felt really bad for Sheryl.”
But Sheryl said “She did absolutely fantastically today because I thought at the beginning she wasn’t going to go in but she did and we’ve got five stars.”

Gillian told Sheryl “You’re so good about it.”  “But this is what we signed up for” replied Sheryl as they made their way back to camp.
Britt said “It turns out that Gillian did five. However, poor Sheryl, she’s been fish gunked and its everywhere. She stinks.

And Jenny said “I’m really upset for her because if I was in that state I would have freaked out. She’s been so good about it. And I would just go absolutely mental.”
