As life in the jungle continues for the celebs, we've got the latest from I'm A Celebrity for you right here.

LOUD ROSEMARY

It was morning in camp.  Nadine and Eric were discussing who would be the first to be voted out of the jungle by viewers.

Eric assured her: “Nah you ain’t going to go.”
Nadine told him: “I thought you’d be the first out because you are not playing at all.”
He replied: “That’s right, I’m just surviving.”
Nadine added in the Bush Telegraph: “There are some people here who want to be in the first public vote off others who don’t care and others who want to be here until the end.”

When Rosemary awoke, she loudly called out to her fellow camp mates which caused the camp to stir, especially Colin who was sleeping close to her.

Having been woken up, Colin asked that she did not bellow, whilst Nadine commented that they were all “in such close proximity to each other all day and all night.”  Rosemary suggested that she would be quiet for the day.

But later, Rosemary whispered to Limahl, “For the first time I feel tearful, little hints that I’m far too loud which I know I am.  Nadine keeps on nagging me about it, not direct, indirect and I’m actually quite upset.   I’m not coping with it very well this morning I’m a bit upset.   So I’m going to try not to speak today.”

Limahl advised Rosemary to confront Nadine.  After a quiet conversation with the MP, who explained that she was offering advice, Rosemary admitted that she might have been wrong.  She later admitted in the Bush Telegraph, “I got this stupid thing in my mind that Nadine might be irritated by me because I’m a strong lady taking her position.  It’s a stupid thought.  I can’t even believe I even thought like that.”

SAVAGE SEWER – BUSH TUCKER TRIAL

Hugo faced his first Bush Tucker Trial, called Savage Sewer.

He arrived at the Trial and was greeted by Ant & Dec who explained the rules.  He had a bandage on his arm after he spilt some hot water but said that he was much more concerned with what he was about to face.

Hugo was told that he had to enter the Trial through the entrance pipe into the main ‘sewer’ chamber.  In the chamber were six pipes.  He had to enter the other sewer pipes in the correct numbered order from one to six, find the stars and untie them.  There were eleven stars up for grabs and he had ten minutes to complete the Trial.  He had ten minutes to get as many stars as he could.

Hugo admitted that this was the worst Trial for him as he has a fear of confined spaces and added, “I can’t even go on the tube in London I hate it so much.”

Hugo headed into the sewer, made his way into the first pipe but was joined by two pythons.  As he attempted to release the two stars, a startled Hugo shouted, “Oh my God did he (the python) try and bite me.”  Unfazed Hugo retrieved the two stars.

As water flooded into the sewer, Hugo quick got a further two stars in the second pipe which contained cane toads.  He also successfully picked up the next batch of stars in the third and fourth pipes.

The sewer continued to fill which meant that he had to put his head under water to get to the entrance of pipe five.  When he saw that it contained spiders, he decided to pass and lost out on two stars.

He entered the sixth and final pipe and was greeted by rats.  He retrieved the star and exited the Trial.

Hugo successfully won nine meals for camp, but admitted to Ant & Dec, “I’m so disappointed by the spiders’ one.  You had to put your head under the water (to get into the pipe) and I was already freaked out when I saw the spiders.”

On his way back into camp, Hugo added, “I’m not going to lift a finger for the rest of the day.  I’m going to really, really abuse my success now to make sure I get the best out of my day.”

Hugo returned to a rapturous applause from his camp mates but it wasn’t enough to wake Eric, who slept through Hugo’s explanation of his Trial.

Having confessed that he was unable to face the spiders, David later commented that he wasn’t surprised as Hugo “screams like a little girl” around spiders.

BED BUGS – BUSH BUDDY CHALLENGE

The celebrities faced their final battle to save themselves from the first public vote off, in the Bush Buddy challenge, called Bed Bugs.

The celebrities were informed that they would have to stay in the very special beds all night and would be joined by jungle critters.

The aim of the game was to stay in the bed for as long as possible.  Based on the previous Bush Buddy challenges they received a ranking.  That ranking would determine the duration they had to share their bed with the ‘bugs’.  The higher their ranking the later their bugs would be delivered.
The celebrities were all told that they were not playing individually.

Colin announced to the camp that the challenge would take place overnight and the longer that each celebrity endured the challenge, the more time they accumulate. The five celebrities who have accumulated the most amount of time would be spared being the first kicked out of the jungle.

Helen and Limahl were in first place so each had 60 minutes added to the time they individually endured in Bed Bugs. David was second and had 45 minutes added, Hugo and Ashley each had 30 minutes, Charlie and Linda both had 20 with Rosemary and Colin and Nadine and Eric failing to complete a Bush Buddy challenge and therefore having no time added to their time in this final challenge.

The celebrities arrived at the challenge in their coloured pyjamas and got into their beds.  They all confessed to feeling nervous as they waited for the bugs to be deposited.

A buzzer alerted each celebrity to the arrival of their bugs.  There would be three deposits during their stay.

David opted to leave the challenge after 18 minutes before his bugs, which would have been cockroaches arrived.  The boxer said it wasn’t because he was scared, he “decided to get the hell out of there and go and get some sleep.  No way in a million years am I am going to be able to sleep with creepy crawlies going over me.”

Nadine, was joined by scorpions and beetles, but asked to leave after 30 mins. Helen was third to leave after she endured 34 minutes.  Joined by snakes and initially exclaimed that she liked them but asked to leave after they were “coming towards” her.

Next out was Limahl after 39 minutes.  Both Colin and Charlie lasted for 68 minutes and Linda followed suit after 78 minutes.  Eric left after 84 minutes leaving Hugo, Rosemary and Ashley to battle it out.  Hugo was next to go after accumulating 146 minutes. He was closely followed by Ashley who left after 155 minutes.  Rosemary, who fell asleep whilst joined by solider crabs, won the challenge after withstanding 156 minutes.

The bugs they faced in the challenge were:

Eric and Nadine - scorpions and beetles

Colin and Rosemary - soldier crabs

Charlie and Linda - crickets

Ashley and Hugo  - rats

David - cockroaches

Limahl and Helen - snakes

WHO WILL FACE THE FIRST EVICTION

The celebrities were informed who would face the first public vote.  They had been competing in the Bush Buddy Challenges to save themselves.

They were told that in first place was Ashley, followed by Hugo.  Next was Rosemary followed by Limahl.  Linda won the fifth and final place.  This left Eric, Nadine, Colin, Charlie, Helen and David facing the first public vote off.

As they talked about their experience during Bed Bugs, Ashley revealed that she was distracted by the rats in her bed that were mating.

After winning the challenge a thrilled Ashley confessed that she would place the certificate “right next to the platinum records.”

Rosemary, revealed that her motivation was “beating Hugo”, she said, “I would have stayed there all night, you know why? I thought this is a 26 year old and I’m going to beat a 26 year old!”

WHAT THE BELL?

The celebrities faced a musical challenge to win food for camp.

Each was given a coloured bell.  Displayed on cards were notes to well-known songs.  They had to follow the notes with their coloured bells and correctly guess the titles to eleven songs, within a time limit.  Each one correctly identified, earned them a meal in camp.

The celebrities, guessed the first three songs correctly, which included the Pussy Cat Doll hit, Don’t Cha but, after numerous discussions amongst each other and whilst they tried different techniques, suggested by musicians Ashley and Limahl they failed to identify the next five songs.

They got one more correct before failing the last two songs and won just four meals for camp.

Disappointed with their performance, Limahl then commented, “You know why we’ve got a Prime Minister running the country cause you’ve got everyone chirping in.  It’s so hard isn’t it?”

ROSEMARY’S EGGS

After Hugo’s successful Bush Tucker Trial, the celebrities dined on a feast of ostrich eggs. Rosemary decided to give camp a cooking lesson much to Eric’s annoyance.

She told camp that she would “sit and prep and give orders to do the cooking.”

With omelette as the chosen dish, she ordered Nadine to “work faster” at her task of stirring the mixture on the fire.

A disgruntled Eric commented, “You don’t have to shout at people for them to listen.”

The camp mated were thrilled with their meal, Hugo admitted that it he thought it was “the best thing ever cooked in the jungle.”

As the camp mates eagerly tucked into their meal, Rosemary apologised to Eric for shouting but explained that it was her teaching method.  But Eric replied, “We’re not going to go home and do one of these are we?”

Later in the Bush Telegraph, Eric confessed, “I find it (the shouting) very rude.  I don’t like it.  Tell us what to do and we shall do it but don’t shout at us.”

This was not felt by all in camp, as Charlie said, “we made this amazing vegetarian omelette.  Rosemary took charge, she knows what she’s doing and yes she can be loud we just need to let her get on with it.”

She continued, “When she’s (Rosemary) in a kitchen that’s just how she rolls.  If you don’t like it fine, you say it and it’s done.  But people shouldn’t continue to go on about it after they’ve said it once.  I don’t think it’s fair bash down somebody’s character.  I don’t want her to feel sad in here we all need the help we can get and at the end of the day she just doing it so that so we all have a great meal.”

GRUMPY ERIC

The camp mates were aware that Eric was in a grouchy mood all day.

The darts champion was miffed when Limahl took too long with the wash bucket and barked at the singer, “here comes the bucket man…. It hasn’t got your name on it.”

Later, after Helen admitted that she often liked to melt ice-lollies and drink them, he said, “you’ve got a fantastic diet when you’re at home.  Is that before the chocolate or after the chocolate?   That’s what done your skin all that sh*t you’re eating.”

Eric, joined by David continued their mocking which caused Helen to get upset.

She later admitted in the Bush Telegraph, “I’m finding it a little bit hard in camp sometimes the boys; they’re lovely, they would never mean to and I know they love me but boys don’t have as much sensitivity as girls.   I love everyone in camp but I’m really sensitive about skin.  I know it sounds really stupid I can’t believe I’m crying, it just gets to me because I feel conscious enough because I haven’t got any makeup.”

Ashley later commented, “Eric says what’s on his mind all the time.   You know where you stand with Eric.  What you see is what you get and he’s not shy to tell you what’s on his mind.  He tells Rosemary your job’s in the kitchen stay out of everything else!”

 THE LAST SUPPER

The celebrities faced their last supper, as one of them would be leaving the camp in the morning.  Having won four stars in their food challenge, they dined on kangaroo fillet conversations quickly turned to the impending eviction as they all reminisced about their time in camp.
