Can you believe it's been eight weeks of Love Island chaos already? Now that the show is over, we got to thinking about the original British series, which was set up for two years with a selection of celebrities.

This celebrity version of Love Island should, without a doubt make a comeback, but if it did, who would you like to see battling it out for the affections of each other, as well as the nation? Here are seven famous faces we'd love to see take part...

7. Lucien Laviscount

No More Parties In LA...by @justinwu

This good looking youngster is everything Love Island producers look for in a contestant, so why not bring him on board for a celebrity version of the show? We've seen how nice he can be in Celebrity Big Brother, so it would be nice for his fans to see if he gelled with anybody in the villa.

6. Kerry Katona

This may be a little awkward if Lucien was in the villa, as Kerry Katona is said to have been his "friend with benefits" following their time together on Celebrity Big Brother. We've seen Kerry work hard to find a man on Celebs Go Dating, but she's still single and on the lookout for her life partner!

5. Zayn Malik

With rumours that his relationship with Gigi Hadid is over, it would be great to see One Direction's most interesting member make his way onto reality television in the search for love. It's a long shot that he'd ever take part, but wouldn't it be fun to see him on screen again!

4. Tiffany 'New York' Pollard

Making a name for herself through reality television, and providing THE entertainment during her season of Celebrity Big Brother, Tiffany Pollard is a woman who's always on the lookout for love - or at least a hot fling! Bringing her into the Love Island fold would be a brave move by producers, but one that would undoubtedly pay off.

3. Jack Whitehall

We imagine that Jack Whitehall's banter would be top shelf if he joined the Love Island villa. It'd be interesting to see if he could turn his charisma and charm into a long-lasting relationship, but if not, at least he'd be consistently entertaining!

2. Lily Allen

She's apparently signed up to an elite dating app since her split, but we think that a dose of Love Island could be the perfect thing for Lily Allen! Not one to bite her tongue if she feels she needs to be heard, she'd make brilliant television, and could use it as a launchpad to release more music.

1. Calum Best

He won the show all the way back in 2006, but Calum Best's dating life doesn't look to have nailed him down his forever-girl, as the star took part in E4 series Celebs Go Dating a little earlier this year. To see him make a return would be a huge moment for the series, and who knows? Perhaps he can find the woman he wants to marry!

Love Island will return for its first winter series in January, from a new location in South Africa, on ITV2.
