Watch the video to see how training is going

After collecting a haul of medals at the Track World Cup in London last month, Britain’s top cyclists are preparing for the next step on the road to London 2012 - the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Melbourne.

We caught up with Joanna Rowsell and Ben Swift as they prepared to ride the boards in Melbourne, the ultimate test before they look to fulfil their Olympic dreams.

Jo and Ben talk us through their training regime ahead of Worlds, how they use CNP Professional products to fuel their training and what a typical week looks like for them as they get ready to go for gold. Jo talks about how her alopecia has made her more determined in life and on the bike.

Jo rides on the track and road and will compete in the Women’s Team and Individual Pursuit at the World Championships. She previously won gold medals at the 2008 and 2009 World Championships and is hoping to replicate that this year with the ultimate goal of a podium finish at London 2012. Her British Cycling team-mate Ben Swift, who began Cycling at the age of three, is taking part in the Men’s Team Pursuit race.

Watch our video where these elite athletes give an exclusive insight into their prep before leaving for the Track World Championships in Melbourne.
